Delete your account

You can delete your Kundera account at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your data.

Option 1 · From the mobile app (recommended)

Open the Kundera app and sign in.
Tap More in the bottom navigation bar (your avatar).
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Confirm the action in the two dialogs.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Option 2 · By email

If you cannot access the app, write to privacy@kundera.ai from the email associated with your account, with subject Account deletion request. We process requests within a maximum of 30 days.

Before you continue

Deleting your account is irreversible. You will lose access to Kundera and to all the drafts you have generated. If you only want to stop receiving notifications, you can disable them from More → Notifications without deleting your account.

What data is deleted

Your authentication identity (Cognito) — permanently deleted.
Your profile data (first name, last name, picture, notification preferences) — anonymized.
Your email address — anonymized (replaced by an internal identifier) so the same email can be registered again in the future.
Your push notification token — unlinked.
Your access permissions to clients and sites — revoked.

What data we keep

Drafts and generated articles: drafts associated with your account remain linked to the client/site they were created for (not to your personal identity). The client retains ownership of that content.
Technical and security logs: up to 90 days, anonymized.
Accounting and tax data: up to 12 months, in line with applicable legal obligations.

This data does not allow you to be re-identified after deletion.
